The Dot & Key Mango Detan Gel Sunscreen is an ultra-light, oil-free gel sunscreen offering SPF 50+ PA+++ protection against UVA and UVB rays. It helps reduce tanning and dark spots, fades pigmentation, and brightens the skin, featuring ingredients like mango, alpha-arbutin, and niacinamide. The formula is designed to be non-greasy, non-sticky, and provides a natural, shine-free finish, making it suitable for oily and combination skin types. It is also water-resistant for long-lasting protection and does not clog pores.
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane is the chemical name for avobenzone, a globally approved, synthetic, oil-soluble organic UV filter that absorbs both UVA and UVB radiation. Used in many sunscreens and cosmetics, it absorbs UV light and converts it to heat, but requires special ingredients to improve its stability in sunlight.
To use the Dot & Key Mango + Detan Gel Sunscreen, apply a generous amount to your face, neck, and other exposed skin areas 15 minutes before going out in the sun. The lightweight, oil-free gel absorbs quickly. Reapply the sunscreen every 2-3 hours, especially after swimming or sweating, to maintain protection. The sunscreen can be layered over moisturizer and worn under makeup.
